Great traveler, great health, and
easy to handle. |

First time out on trail July 3, 2011. |

Great trail stamina and agility,
we trail ride regularly. |
|

Here we were practicing with tacking up with a special
outfit (feathers, tassels, flowing skirt, etc.) and riding on
the road on 8/2/11 in preparation for her first parade (see
photos above).

Stats
Name: Margriet (registered name:
Maggie).
Age: 2004, 8 year old KFPS/FHANA mare
with lots of hair and the whole package; breed typical, steady
temperament for trail & family events, and a wonderful dressage
talent with great power. Not a deadhead but also level headed.
Pedigree: Stam 49, Feitse 293
pref x Bendert 281 x Ids 300 x Tsjalling 235, nice mare line of stb x
ster x ster double pref x ster x ster, 5.08% inbr coeff. 2nd premie as a filly, stb at 5
but she did not show her power of the gaits then at all (per her
scores that was where she lost out) and she sure has that. She
should be represented for what we believe should be 3rd premie
studbook. Ster is probably stretching it but she's super nice!
Training: see list below.
Looks & details: Very breed
typical, loving
and people friendly as a family horse, not marish, and great show talent. Big eyes,
pretty face, curvy ears, lots of hair! Mane
below her shoulders, thick tail, feathers, and long forelock. Well put together
and lots of power from behind. Easy to sit, easy to move forward
as well as keep with you. Easy in
herd setting. 1.58m./15.2 hands. Looks great with trainer Anneke
at 5'8", see photo above. She grew up in a cold climate,
and now does great in a hot climate.
Care: All up to date on shots,
farrier, dental, deworming (we do regular fecals to take
out the guess work), Coggins, the works. Goes barefoot: great
feet.
Fun facts: fabulous lesson &
guest horse, bonds well with her
handler/trainer. We put anyone on her. Chicken/cat/dog
trained. Good with kids and even therapeutic-style rides.
Location: at our home in N.E.
Texas.
