This is the page for Rock Star Friesians for
sale at our farm (featured in the header sold ster gelding Hessel,
imported by Anneke's Friesians). At this time, however, it SAVES YOU to
ship direct rather than through a U.S. seller. We can make it simple.
Why & how to import?
Because the best and biggest selection of fairy tale Friesians in
pedigrees and sport performance/training as well as approved stallions is still in The Netherlands.
Importing is expensive (lowest cost for a gelding or youngster, medium
for a mare, highest for a stallion) so it is only worth it if you are
willing to invest in something special for a breeding program or
top-performance Friesians and at that point prices are actually the same
or higher in North America, but there is not much to choose from in
North America. So consider importing to stand out and come in with a
head start.
We have the international experience & knowledge
with trustworthy, quality connections in The NL that outshine in quiet
the overhyped 'factories.' This simplifies importing. We provide
committed customers with full info, tips, guidance, and door-to-door transportation/quarantine arrangements,
or ship yourself (we charge actual shipping cost only).
When not to import.
If one is looking for a cheap Friesian and is willing to put in the time
and effort, there are many wonderful domestic options, as well as
comparable higher-up options. Yes, there are
plenty of cheap, very-nice-quality Friesians in The Netherlands
available but by the time one adds the import cost they are at the level
of a finished gem and one is better off to go all the way. And don't
forget what one will spend domestically in training fees. With both our
import and domestic listings we provide unique, personalized input for a
real match, not a quick sale.
